THCp, short for tetrahydrocannabiphorol, is an emerging cannabinoid that has been identified in the cannabis plant. Unlike the well-known cannabinoids THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol), THCp is still relatively new to the scientific community. However, it’s rapidly gaining attention for its remarkable potency, which is estimated to be 30 times stronger than THC according to preliminary studies.
The 2018 Farm Bill in the United States legalized hemp-derived products that contain less than 0.3% THC. Interestingly, this legislation does not specifically address THCp, making it technically legal under federal law.
